This is Where I Build

My building area is made from:

Two 6-foot tables in an "L" configuration (purchased at a used office
furniture warehouse) with a wall of sorting bins on top and stacks of
storage tubs beneath.

Overflow building and assembly of larger projects is occasionally performed
on the dining room table.

The total area of my building area is:

Approximately 6' x 9'.  (See above.)

Total number of bricks at arms length:

All of them.  (About 150,000 pieces at last inventory.)

The total number of bricks at your disposal without getting up
from your comfy chair.

Most of them, but I have long arms.

Neatest thing about my building area:

There is nothing "neat" about my building area, which is why I don't have
any current photos...

Worst thing about my building area:

Too much loose LEGO on the building surface that prevents me from opening
all the drawers and makes it hard to have enough open space to build upon.

A picture of my building area:

This is a very old picture.  Multiply the sorting bins by 4X and the table
surface by 2.5X and you get the idea:

Extra Notes:

I sometimes employ a fan in the room to keep the dog+cat hair off of my
creations while I'm building.  There is no escaping the fuzz in my house,
and I fear the thought of bringing a vacuum cleaner into my LEGOtorium.

I did some searches and couldn't really find anything of this type having been previously done on LUGNET, so here goes: We've all seen the existing roll call forms. There are those for generic LEGO fans, for space fans, castle etc. Here's one with a (...) (22 years ago, 20-Nov-02, to lugnet.build, lugnet.general)
