Thanks for the kind words Andy. Yes, the mounting the portal windows and the rounded nose were the things that the rest of the model are based around. Thanks John. Coming from the champion of 8 wide, this means a lot to me. Yeah, I used lots of three long plates in this model! Hi again folks, I've just put my latest creation online, a Technic figure scale small(ish) excavator. Mark, Awesome work on that Carrier! Very lean and mean. I really like the deatils on the bridge. You were undoubtably influenced by the big KEN as we all were. Anyway, your work continues to improve. I spent all weekend figuring out how to upload to Brickshelf from home (reconfigure ISP, Update Mac OS to 8.6, find and upload Netscape...etc). I've finally uploaded two new pictures of my new mech. That officily sucks! Now only if I had any classic space sets from my childhood... I have obtained 100% of my pre-1992 models in the past year and now have 2 and 1/2 classic space sets, ;-) I soooooooo wish I had more... Oh, and you can contribute (...) So tonight I pulled out my big box of LEGO from my wee days. Most of my collection was classic space, and I probably have about 50% of the sets from '78 to '83 say.
