If you build on a baseplate, turn it over, rip the baseplate off, and build in the interior - I've done that before on rather large structures (like my 48x96 warehouse rebuilt 5-6 times so far). Yeah, I guess it is pretty funny, regardless of age! ;-) Regarding the type of ammunition the weapon uses, well I usually like going for the direct kill, so, yeah lethal anti-infantry rounds, but it can also shoot anti-tank shells.
