Ummm... No internal weapons you say:

How about lasers in the eyes.

Also, don't a lot of them have hidden missiles, because the anime there sure
are a lot of missiles flying.

BTW don't nearly all Gundam and related mecha (Zaku) in the anime have
thrusters?

I like Heavy Gear, because it has very utilitarian designs, like real • military
vehicles and mecha will look like in the "near future". Of course, the same • can
be said for Gundam, but they are more like what military vehicles and mecha
will look like in the "distant future". Still, I just love adding external • fuel
tanks to everything I build, it just makes things look more realistic.

--- Styles ---
Gundam:

- huge feet
- long legs
- a lot of internal weapons, sometimes... • Only one of the Gundams on Gundam Wing have many internal weapons (Heavy Arms)
- more proportionate head, two eyes • Especially including pointy things on the head, well, you know what I mean.
- huge, outward-extending, "wing-like" shoulders
- unproportionate torso, compared to legs
- tall, humanoid appearance
Yes. Very, very tall. Mobile suits (as they are called on Gundam) are HUGE in
comparison to humans.
- space friendly; lots of thrusters
At the beginning of Gundam Wing the Gundams were designed for Earth combat
only. Later they were rebuilt or modifyed (accept for Wing Commander or 01
which was destroyed. The pilot then took command of a Gundam know as Gundam
Zero, which was a super Gundam, and the basis of the others. It was already
made for space combat.)
- forward opening torso hatch (I think?)
Yes. Always forward opening hatch.

I was just "adding on" a little to what you said.

I've never noticed any lasers in the eyes, but maybe it's an episode I just haven't seen yet. Most Gundams have guns on the sides of their heads, tho. ~M (24 years ago, 30-Aug-00, to lugnet.build.mecha)
