  My second mecha

This is a preview of my second mecha. I'm very excited to share it with everyone, so I took a quick photo. I won't be able take any proper photos within the next week (I’ve got an exam coming up). In the meantime, enjoy this pic: (URL) -DAng- (21 years ago, 13-Sep-03, to lugnet.build.mecha, FTX)

Boba Fett Star Wars Miniland Scale Figure MOC

I had already made a Boba Fett, but thought it was time to give him a makeover. So, here is my new and improved Boba, with articulated joints and even more weaponry: (URL) with Rifle> (URL) with Rifle> (URL) Left Angle> (4 URLs) (no weapons)> (URL) (...)   Re: SOPHIE!!?? WHY???!!! OH WHY????!!!

I know, isn't it horrible? Hey Eric, if you need help, bring Jama's remains to NWBC. I'll help get him back together if it takes all weekend. I'm not passing up a chance to see Jama in the brick, no matter what. Take care, Soren (URL) (21 years ago, 12-Sep-03, to lugnet.build.mecha, FTX)

  Re: Schwerpunkt a.k.a Focal Point

All right, here goes: Colors: A little freaky at first, but you just can't go wrong with Sand Green. The light gray doesn't bother me at all. Design: Ehhh, not very impressed beyond the joints. Shoulders look flimsy. Do they hinge upwards? (...) (21 years ago, 12-Sep-03, to lugnet.build.mecha, FTX)

  SOPHIE!!?? WHY???!!! OH WHY????!!!

I get on the internet, check here 1st, then go look at brickshelf. What draws my eye?? A new GORGON, a horrible sight that moved me to tears. (URL) SOPHIE? OH WHY?? (21 years ago, 12-Sep-03, to lugnet.build.mecha)

"John Cooper" <jljmcooper@aol.com> wrote in message news:HL30wu.1u0B@lugnet.com... (...) This looks good. I prefer the half pins inserted from the back. It softens the appearance of the "stars". Bob Fay (21 years ago, 12-Sep-03, to lugnet.build)

  Re: Schwerpunkt a.k.a Focal Point

(...) Thanks, Paul! The color scheme grew out of a need to build those shoulders since the curved half panels aren't available in Dark Grey. I wouldn't mind revisiting the model design with a different colorscheme, but at this point, the parts (...) (21 years ago, 12-Sep-03, to lugnet.build.mecha)

Re: Getting the stuff for mecha

(...) Ouch! Triple whammy! The only suggestion I can think of is to find someone to buy for you, who would act as an intermediary to purchase parts for you in exchange for a cash payment. This is a slow, potentially expensive way to go and requires (...) (21 years ago, 12-Sep-03, to lugnet.build.mecha)

  Re: Schwerpunkt a.k.a Focal Point

Dave, For what it's worth, I really like the color scheme. The sand green is probably one of my favorite Lego colors. I really like the head and the shoulders look pretty cool as well. I have a potential suggestion, though I don't know if it will (...) (21 years ago, 12-Sep-03, to lugnet.build.mecha)

Re: Motorizing the pneumatics of set 8455 (Technic Back-hoe Loader)

(...) Hi Brad, I'm a *huge* fan fo the 8455 set. Not only is the completed model a thing of beauty, it is a phenominal deal when it comes to the amount of pneumatic parts it has. My first one was a gift from a good friend so I built the model (...) (21 years ago, 12-Sep-03, to lugnet.technic, lugnet.build)

Re: MOC: Land Rover Defender 110

(...) Hello Jennifer, hello Ben, yes, the wheels are the main "problem" of the model. I first tried the ModelTeam wheels, but they were too large: (URL) Now I use the Zonic Strike wheels: (URL) Here you can see the difference: (URL)(left: ModelTeam, (...)   Re: Getting the stuff for mecha

Hope ya'll don't mind me asking a question here (especially John Harrison since he started this). I'm still studying and therefore don't have a credit card.
