All right, here goes:

Colors: A little freaky at first, but you just can’t go wrong with Sand Green. The light gray doesn’t bother me at all.

Design: Ehhh, not very impressed beyond the joints. Shoulders look flimsy. Do they hinge upwards? (difficult concept to explain properly.) Can’t get a good look at the arms.

Torso seems... underdeveloped. It just doesn’t look like much of anything. I’d like to see this guy “project” more from the torso/hip area. No pressure.

Z-axial rotation seems to be missing from the hips, which is too bad really, I think he’d look much better with a more dynamic leg pose. Legs also a little too blocky for my taste.

I dig the head, reminds me of Bryce’s Big Blue.

Overall: I like Schwerpunkt in spite of myself, to be honest. A lot of stuff that bothers me, but he’s got a certain charm I can’t quite put my finger on...

Feel free to smack me around for this at NWBC, just giving my opinion. looking forward to seeing your models in the brick.

Take care,

Soren

Hello everyone! It feels nice to be back with a new MOC, especially one that was never supposed to be a completed design. (URL) Ideas starting from BW2k3 Schwerpunkt aka Focal Point Closeup Pic (thanks to Bruce Lowell) (URL) Other pics to be added (...)
