Very innovative Jeremy...I love the concept of galactic shipping. It combines the fun of trucks/trains into the fantasy of space. Amazing job...such a versatile design. Hi John, I really like the idea of doing a bas relief underneath a mosaic. As you say, you can't really see the result in the photos. Perhaps if you turn off the flash on your camera and light the mosaic with a bright light offset to one side. You (...) (22 years ago, 4-Oct-02, to lugnet.build)

I've seen so many wonderful LEGO mosaics in the last year that I've been itching to do something large-scale of my own. I could never decide on a subject to put the effort into though. Hmmm, well if you don't mind reverse knees here two small ones that don't have bionicle in them. And converting them to a human style knee would be pretty easy. Beast is more playable than Orc. Keep them seperate (it makes moving the MOC much easier), and just place the bridge between them when they're joined. (...) Does anybody know how to remove the printing from bricks with texture, like a standard slope? I've tried brass-o, but that removes the texture just as much as the paint, and leaves the brick with an odd look and feel. Any suggestions would be most (...) (22 years ago, 28-Sep-02, to lugnet.build)

Yeah the hover coils were originally supposed to be a big multicoloured mess (black, red, blue and tan) but I decided that it definitely looks cooler when they're mostly the same colour. Wassssup Everyone, I recently tried to make and MOC by combining a Eldorado Fortress and an Imperial Trading Post. I was making headway for a bit, but crossed 2 problems. 1, I don't know how to build a bridge across the 2 mountain baseplates without (...) I have mulling over the idea of a mecha contest in my head for a few days now. I would really like to host it, and I can get my hands on some LEGO prizes for the winners. This is a prototype space ship for the upcoming Bricktopia space port. Unfortunately, it turned out too big to use in such an urban landscape, so it will have to be relegated to remote launch sites. Cool tank! I like that alot, the black looks like it could be treads, but it's not, cool! The gun and all the little details are nice too. The shapes near the front are sweet.
