Top idea! I have just gotten into some real high-detail mech building. And
the two categories is a really cool idea. I'm in the middle of a model I
could enter at the moment but I can't tell whether it's a mech or mecha :D.
I say have the contest ASAP. The other categories should be size - maybe
three size categories for each type.
Contestents need to take a bunch of photos and do a writeup on their model.
Each entry should be judged on coolness, colour scheme,
stability/construction and back story.
Just my thoughts,
