Thanks! Great pages with lots of pics! I've gotten about a three foot pile of books on WWII aircraft and spits over the past two weeks so I'm up to my knees in resources ( literally!) Geordan, I found some info on a modelling page. Geordan, Most Wartime Spitfires were of a brown, and 2 shade green color, while Photo recon spits were a pale blue shade. Some USAAF and RAF spitfires as well as RN seafires were in a pale grey color that the light grey lego shade approximates very (...) (23 years ago, 2-Aug-01, to lugnet.build, lugnet.general)

Right now it is green overall with the underside of the wings and fuselage in light grey. It also has D-day invasion markings on the bottom as well ( black and white stripes on the bottom rear part of the fuselage) At this point lego doesn't make a (...) Personally I don't want Lego making anything mecha. I want a genre that is untouched by their "master builders". A place where I can still build what I want and NOT have it compared to Legoland or some store display. Also (and I know I'm in the (...) I like it! It has a very earthy feel to it. It gives me a sort-of Frank Lloyd Wright feeling. The interior it really cool as well. Interesting design. I kind of liked the first version as well. I've tried to do balconies on buildings, but I've never gotten it to turn out right. Thanks, although like I said that one with the terraces has been tore apart. I may try to do something with that concept later. Yellow. The off-colors grew on me after a while. I am mostly happy with the design, I think I will give it another go after this weekend, Joel wants me to keep it together for the Lego get together thingie. Well I made yet another downtown style building. (By this I mean, bigger than a house, yet small enough that it isn't a skyscraper). This one is yellow with blue accents. From vague memory only, I think there may be a hammer-head shark as well as a standard one, there's also a Spider (black and orange), a scorpion and a few dinosaurs. (My daughter has a little green one). In Duplo there is a collection (Forest (...) (23 years ago, 30-Jul-01, to lugnet.build)

Brad-- Another masterpiece, for sure. You've got a really unique style. Have you turned your interest in architecture to non-Lego applications?
