I wasn't thinking about the scale constraints. I was thinking about
the practical constraints. For example, if you actually want the
train to be useful in a layout, it must be able to negotiate the tight
curves. It must also have some kind of couplers, one unit must be
motorized and able to pull/push the rest of the train etc.
It is probably also sensible that it looks like a train. I.e., it
usually has wheels(!), some windows and doors, ect. Whereas people
who build in the space theme can basically build "anything".
