Re: One Metro Plaza - the Corporate HQ of the Brick Bank

(...) The red girder pieces are in the 1682 Space Shuttle set, I don't if they were in any others though. junior (24 years ago, 21-Jan-01, to lugnet.town, lugnet.build, lugnet.loc.uk, lugnet.build.arch)

Re: One Metro Plaza - the Corporate HQ of the Brick Bank

(...) Very nice! I love the window cleaner too. But where did those girders come from that make up the radio tower? I've never seen anything like that in Lego. The detail in the ventilation control box is a neat touch. And I like the cunningly (...) (24 years ago, 21-Jan-01, to lugnet.town, lugnet.build, lugnet.loc.uk, lugnet.build.arch)

  Re: The Kujawa Tower

RE: Model Team scale Lamborghini Diablo 6.0

(...) Thanks! (...) Unfortunately, I have none of those sets, so I can't even test whether that would work. LEGO steering parts tend to be quite large, which does make the "turning in place" really hard to implement. I doubt any steering parts could (...) (24 years ago, 21-Jan-01, to lugnet.build)

Re: Model Team scale Lamborghini Diablo 6.0

Whoah! Great Job. Really, really great model. I like the overall shape, I like the body detail, (especially those sloped things like the air-intake look cool), those obscurely hinged doors are cool, too, and to put such a detailed interior into the (...) (24 years ago, 21-Jan-01, to lugnet.build)

  Re: Silver Stickers

(...) During the time I worked as a Copier Tech, 7 years, I learned toner is basically a plastic substance, with other magnetic material conbined. they use about 470 degrees (varies depending on MFG) to fuse the toner to the paper.   Re: Silver Stickers

  Silver Stickers

I'm planning on using stickers to make some classic Castle "knight" minifigs (belt, silver vest), since for some reason TLC never made them in white or yellow. . .I assume designing the stickers should be easy---scan 'em in and touch 'em up the GIMP (...)   Re: Technic Aeroplane

Great model! I tried to figure out the joystick design for some time and I think there is a mistake in the instructions - It seems to me that there should be only two gears inside the inner box. Thanks, What does SPUD stand for? I assume you mean the trans-pink roof pieces right? I just love Paradisa sets. I finally got a complete 6416 (Poolside Paradise).   Re: Technic Aeroplane

That is an excellent design for a joystick. I had been trying to figure out how to do one myself. Out of curiosity, did you get this from some real machine, or did you invent it from scratch?
