  3 new spaceish Mocs!

Hello all, I've got my first "real" space Moc under my belt. I've built space before, but this is my first cool space vehicle or so I think. ;^) I present the HLAATV or "T-24 Boar" (URL) the longest time I've wanted to build a dropship. I've (...) (...) SNIP (...) WOW! the dropship rocks! Totally conveys the thick armored super tough ship look. and it looks like it would be fun to fly too. I think it would be cool for the angled supports on either side of the cockpit to be yellow, like double (...) (21 years ago, 9-Apr-03, to lugnet.space)

  Re: 3 new spaceish Mocs!

One thing is for sure...you wouldn't want the Boar landing in your front yard. Man, what a bruiser. Often dropships are long an lean...an interesting take to go the other way and make it more bulky. It makes sense...able to take a lot of fire and (...) (21 years ago, 9-Apr-03, to lugnet.space)

Hi there, Geordan, First up you have an excellent design concept on the Boar. I love the area around the cokpit with the intakes and rocket cannisters, ets. The rocket pods are also quite cool. I hate to be picky but I found the body of the thing a (...) (21 years ago, 9-Apr-03, to lugnet.space)

(...) Wow! That is C-O-O-L... Like others have said, the bulkiness of this craft is an awesome departure from the slender and winged troop carriers we're so accustomed to seeing. Really well done Geordan. I give you major props for the creativity (...) (21 years ago, 10-Apr-03, to lugnet.space)

  Re: 3 new spaceish Mocs!

Thanks Jeff! (...) That would be cool, but there'd be no way my measly yellow tiles collection would stretch that far. :P (...) Definitely, or maybe less armor and way more guns. mmm (...) Yeah they are really useful. The LPT is (...) Again, if I (...) (21 years ago, 11-Apr-03, to lugnet.space)

(...) Thanks Curt! I would have liked some more yellow, but there's only so much you can do with what you have. (...) Thanks again! -Geordan- (...) (21 years ago, 11-Apr-03, to lugnet.space)

Thanks Gil! (...) Yep, I was definitely thinking about blackhawk down-esque missions for this, ie. lots of rooftop rpg's, small arms fire etc. (...) Thanks I was looking for that effect. (...) Definitely. Thanks again -Geordan- (...) (21 years ago, 11-Apr-03, to lugnet.space)

(...) Thanks Zac! (...) I definitely agree. It would like much better in that arrangment, I'm not sure what prompted me to do it the way I did. (...) thanks!   Re: 3 new spaceish Mocs!

Thanks Mladen! (...) Thanks, I needed something that could take a beating, give a beating, and drop equipment that could give further beating. =^P (...) Hehe, probably not feasable, but it looks cool. :P (...) Yep, exactly the look I wanted, (...) (21 years ago, 12-Apr-03, to lugnet.space)

  Re: 3 new spaceish Mocs!

(...) What's up Geordan? (...) YES! My second favorite thing, dropships! To quote you, this guy can take it, give it, and bring it... a beating that is. The chunkyness of this guy works very well. Retractable weapons are awesome, I think, and you (...) (21 years ago, 22-Apr-03, to lugnet.space)
