Fleebnorks and Sea Monkeys and Turbocycles Oh My! —Adrian Drake
Catching up with one of my Brickswest inspirations, and grabbing onto the coat tails of a couple of new fads/interstellar species, I created three new turbocycles for my Turbocycle League. Snag them all from one location at the bottom of this page: (...) (21 years ago, 24-Feb-03, to lugnet.announce.moc, lugnet.space, lugnet.aquazone)

Re: Fleebnorks and Sea Monkeys and Turbocycles Oh My! —Nathan Wells
(...) contrasts nicely with the trans-light-yellow Fleebnork. I might just hafta build one of these 'cycles once I re-sort some of my LEGO. What are the guidelines for making a Turbocycle? Nathan Wells (21 years ago, 24-Feb-03, to lugnet.space, lugnet.aquazone)

Re: Fleebnorks and Sea Monkeys and Turbocycles Oh My! —Adrian Drake
(...) Guidelines for a turbocycle? Um, two wheels and a pilot :) They were a big fad last year this time when I posted my first Turbocycle. A few other .spacers built some. Chris Maddison took the inspiration the farthest and put together quite a (...) (21 years ago, 24-Feb-03, to lugnet.space, lugnet.aquazone)

(...) something. I'm jealous of anyone that has it in sufficient quantities to use it properly. Te bat wings are a cute touch. I'm not sure about the axes on the front though. Is there any way to get them closer to the wheel to act as wheel covers? (...) (21 years ago, 24-Feb-03, to lugnet.space, lugnet.aquazone)

Re: Fleebnorks and Sea Monkeys and Turbocycles Oh My! —Adrian Drake
(...) Right, they're more weapons than wheel guards. If they were too close to the wheels, they'd run the risk of causing damage to them instead of the bad guys. I agree, though, that they would look good as wheel covers. (...) Yeah, I did like the (...) (21 years ago, 24-Feb-03, to lugnet.space, lugnet.aquazone)

Re: Fleebnorks and Sea Monkeys and Turbocycles Oh My! —Gil Shaw
Gotta dig the zany! As usual, all of them are splendid Adrian, although I have to express a particular fondess for the Sea Monkey Marauder. At first I thought the bubble was able to turn, brining those cones/weapons to bare. When I saw that it was (...) (21 years ago, 24-Feb-03, to lugnet.space, lugnet.aquazone)

Re: Fleebnorks and Sea Monkeys and Turbocycles Oh My! —Adrian Drake
(...) Now there's an idea... A turbocycle with a turret :) *files the concept away for later use* I've always had a fondness for vehicles from the old cartoon show M.A.S.K. Some of the first MOC's I remember building that I was very proud of were (...) (21 years ago, 24-Feb-03, to lugnet.space, lugnet.aquazone)

(...) Thanks. They'll be a little harder to crisp with the plasma torch when they're in one of these, won't they :) Adrian -- (URL) (21 years ago, 24-Feb-03, to lugnet.space, lugnet.aquazone)

Re: Fleebnorks and Sea Monkeys and Turbocycles Oh My! —Joe Meno
Neat! I find myself really liking the Fleebcycle the best...just the image of a bug on a cycle I find decidedly warped. The Sea Monkey cycle is really cool because of the wheels/turbines. very clever, and something that I would expect from the SMs:) (...)      (...) What I really want to know is how the Fleebnork works the controls with those claws :) (...)          Re: Fleebnorks and Sea Monkeys and Turbocycles Oh My! —Leonard Hoffman
<snip> (...) THANK YOU!! My problem is that the original description of fleebnorks (parasites that infect power units on starships) kinda implies that they are really common. Yet, they were available in only one set! (6575 Polar Base) and are (...) (21 years ago, 25-Feb-03, to lugnet.space, lugnet.aquazone)

The Word on Fleebnorks —Mark Sandlin
(...) That was my original intent. It has been through the efforts of other .space folks that the common fleebnork has become more than was originally intended.
