    New MOC: Module! —Bram Lambrecht
This will somehow be going from Cleveland to Seattle in a week, where all the lucky NWBrickCon attendees will see it in all its glory. For the rest of you, here's a sneak peak of what I've got so far! (URL) LMKWYT! --Bram Bram Lambrecht (...) (22 years ago, 28-Sep-02, to lugnet.announce.moc, lugnet.space) !!

(...) (URL) (...) Hah! Mine is "adjustable" in height. With just 28 extra pieces, I can make it 5" taller....it will of course get more and more wobbly if I keep increasing the height.          Re: New MOC: Module! —Bram Lambrecht
Actually, I had the idea for a Space-Needle-like tower before I was sure I was going to Seattle. After all, there are similar towers in Toronto and Niagra Falls. The Space Needle just happens to be the coolest. I admit that I did look at a couple (...) (22 years ago, 28-Sep-02, to lugnet.space)

Re: New MOC: Module! —Mark Neumann
Woo hooo! Bram, you rock. If we can get a monorail and, dare I say it, the EMP next to it the moonbase could be a virtual map for the Seattle Center. The EMP for those not in the know. Is the Experience Music Project. A museaum for musical artifacts (...) (22 years ago, 28-Sep-02, to lugnet.space)

Moonbase Monorail (was Re: New MOC: Module!) —Frank Filz
(...) Well, I'm trying to get some monorail connected with the moonbase. Unfortunately, I'm discovering that the choice of height of the connecting passages makes things complicated for monorails. A height of 10 bricks instead of 8 (to tbe floor (...)          Re: Moonbase Monorail (was Re: New MOC: Module!) —Mark Sandlin
(...) The only thing that needs to be at 8 bricks is the connecting corridor. You can build the rest of your module at whatever height you choose. I like your idea of having the monorail at 20 however. You could have a lower level as a terminal with (...) (22 years ago, 29-Sep-02, to lugnet.space)

Re: New MOC: Module! —Adrian Drake
(...) Very cool. I can't wait to see more detailed pictures so I can get a better look at the curved support pieces. I guess I won't be doing my space needle concept anymore. Time to find another module idea to build next :) Cheers Adrian -- (...) (22 years ago, 28-Sep-02, to lugnet.space)
