Actually, I had the idea for a Space-Needle-like tower before I was sure I was
going to Seattle.  After all, there are similar towers in Toronto and Niagra
Falls.  The Space Needle just happens to be the coolest.  I admit that I did
look at a couple photos of the real thing for extra inspiration while I was
working on it.
