No more broken thumbnails! —Kevin Loch
I have fixed what I hope is all of the 'broken thumbnail' problems with the gallery. New uploads should not result in broken thumbnails under any circumstances. Broken file thumbnails can be fixed by issuing the 'reload' command from within the (...) (22 years ago, 16-Jan-02, to lugnet.announce.brickshelf) !

Re: No more broken thumbnails! —Simon Bennett
(...) *laughs uncontrollably for several minutes* I clicked on this story because I thought it was going to explain an easy way to separate two 1x plates of the same size - I've broken a heck of a lot of thumbnails that way! *goes off laughing...* (...)          Re: No more broken thumbnails! —Adrian Drake
(...) Try using 2 brick separators. It does the job quite well. Adrian -- www.brickfrenzy.com (22 years ago, 16-Jan-02, to lugnet.off-topic.fun)

Re: No more broken thumbnails! —Terry Keller
(...) Yes it does. Alternately, you could try sending the offending plates to Kevin Loch. :-) -- Terry K -- (22 years ago, 17-Jan-02, to lugnet.off-topic.fun)

Re: No more broken thumbnails! —A. Mark Wilburn
(...) For those of us with only 1 seperator (and/or it's been misplaced... boy do I need to organize), I usually put 2 more longer plates on, 1 on either side. That gives you enough leverage without forcing anything between the 2 original stuck (...) (22 years ago, 17-Jan-02, to lugnet.off-topic.fun)

Re: No more broken thumbnails! —Frank Filz
(...) How do you manage to ONLY have ONE separator????? I now have more than enough for two in each location (computer/sorting area, kitchen, dining room table, bathroom, bedroom - though perhaps my bedroom could be split into two locations...). (...)          Re: No more broken thumbnails! —Larry Pieniazek
(...) Oh come, come now... you're insufficiently CD (1) if you thought a post to announce.brickshelf was actually going to be about bricks. And you say your nickname is psi! Well that shows that the paranormal is a load of bunk, I guess. But ya it's (...) (22 years ago, 17-Jan-02, to lugnet.off-topic.fun)

Re: No more broken thumbnails! —Simon Bennett
(...) Well the Duke of Wellington said 'Never explain or apologise' but because of that I always suspected him of not actually being English so... I read via the web so I just clicked on the headline in the 'Top Stories' box. I didn't know where the (...) (22 years ago, 17-Jan-02, to lugnet.off-topic.fun)

Re: No more broken thumbnails! —Bruce Hietbrink
(...) I have to admit, I clicked on the "top story" thinking exactly that. :) Bruce (22 years ago, 17-Jan-02, to lugnet.off-topic.fun)

Re: No more broken thumbnails! —Andrzej M. Szlaga
(...) I couldn't upload any file and I can't do it now. "Internal server error". When do you fix this? (22 years ago, 17-Jan-02, to lugnet.publish)

Re: No more broken thumbnails! —Kevin Loch
It sounds like you're not even getting the files to the server. When you click on the upload link from a folder, you should get the 'upload page'. On that page is a box to enter the file you want to upload, a browser button, and upload button and a (...) (22 years ago, 17-Jan-02, to lugnet.publish)

(...) That's for if he has a sudden inspiration when he's in the tub playing with his boats. But what does he mean by his bedroom being split into two locations? Never mind, it's none of my business.... Maggie C. (22 years ago, 19-Jan-02, to lugnet.fun)

(...) :-) Nah... as Kevin W. has observed the bricks have those nasty pointy corners (although I don't think he was complaining!). But I will admit I regularly take an S@H catalog to bed with me. Maggie (22 years ago, 19-Jan-02, to lugnet.fun)

Re: No more broken thumbnails! —Larry Pieniazek
