New 2000 sets in Lego.com European catalog!

I was looking at the (URL) official LEGO web site and checked to see if any catalog entries had been updated. Sure enough, there were plenty of them in Europe! I'll admit that I checked most of these numbers by typing them at the end of a (URL) of (...) (25 years ago, 10-Dec-99, to lugnet.announce, lugnet.general)

(...) [snip] I hate to followup my own message, but I just want to point out that these were discovered nearly the same way that set 1886 got into the Pause list. See (URL) (25 years ago, 10-Dec-99, to lugnet.general)

Re: New 2000 sets in Lego.com European catalog!

(...) Veddy interesting...did that actual URL work for you earlier? I get a "not found" message on it. That's an interesting technique, BTW, since someone wouldn't even have to know set numbers ahead of time -- there are "only" about 7000 unused (...) (25 years ago, 10-Dec-99, to lugnet.general)

Just finished browsing the site and noticed something. no matter how hard I try i cant find mention of the millenium falcon anywhere on the lego.com web site. that sucks! -- Jonathan Wilson wilsonj@xoommail.com (URL) (25 years ago, 10-Dec-99, to lugnet.general)

(...) I found the best approach was to go into the European region, then to System, and click on the broken theme icons (these appear to be Arctic, Footbal, new SW Episode 1, and the new Castle sub theme) and there are all the new sets. Check out 3410 (URL) this an expansion set for 3409??? Or a way to turn 3401 into a full field? You'd need a bunch of them, in which case you'd have an army of players. The buses use click hinges and have 7 train windows each. Cool. I like the (...) (25 years ago, 10-Dec-99, to lugnet.general)
