Hi All,
First I'd like to say thank you for being patient with us. Today was the
earliest possible date that the LEGOLAND, CA (LLCA) Gallery was in any shape
to be made public. We all would have loved to get the pics out the day after
the show, but the club members decided that we wanted to stick to our
gallery page format (with a slight face lift). It was an incredibility time
consuming task to gather some 1500 photos from about 10 photographers from 7
different cities. The pics then needed to be cropped, resized, sorted,
ordered, and captioned. We ended up with about ~450. It took the efforts of
many club members and other AFOLs that visited the display to pull this
together.
The face lift that I mentioned above has added web pages for each images
with navigation buttons and thumbnail view photo captions that pop-up if you
park your mouse over the thumbnail for a couple seconds. Dwayne was
principally responsible for the invisible behind the scenes JAVA/HTML work.
The list of non-PNLTC'ers that provided photographs and pitched in as if
they where PNLTC members at the show is long. We really want to thank all of
you that helped! And hats off to all SCLTC guys that helped out, literally
someone from SCLTC was there from the time we stepped off the plane until
the last of the 10 palettes were packed! We really appreciate it!
We plan to pull together the list of names and include them on the LLCA page.
So visit www.PNLTC.org under Gallery
Enjoy

| (...) Great layout!! I wish I could have seen it in person. Thanks for taking all the time and effort to share it with us. Do you have a Track Designer file of the layout that you could share with us? Regards, Steve Martin IndyLUG (23 years ago, 29-Aug-01, to lugnet.trains)

| What I saw looks great but there are a lot of broken images. The thumb nails loaded extremely slow as well. I was listening to internet radio (and it didin't cut out) while they were loading so I don't think it is my DSL. (7:30 AM CST) That (...) (23 years ago, 29-Aug-01, to lugnet.trains)

| (...) Wow. I've been looking at this on & off for a few days now, and I'm overwhelmed. There is so much fantastic work, I can't be superlative enough... trying to come up with highlights against a background like this is beyond me. This was a (...) (23 years ago, 1-Sep-01, to lugnet.trains)

| (...) First I'd like to say that is an absolutely impressive display. Just breath-taking. I love all the details in each area. There are just too many wonderful MOC's to start commenting on them all. Congratulations on a job well done. That said, (...) (23 years ago, 1-Sep-01, to lugnet.trains)

| (...) As I'm browsing through this on my slow link, I've been thinking how nice it would be to have this presentation on a CD-ROM. I think I'd be willing to pay as much as 20 bucks for something like that, which would be a great way for a club to (...) (23 years ago, 2-Sep-01, to lugnet.trains)
