I'd agree with this. But what I do with an L3Lab output (which is how I generate
my static images in POV from LDraw files) is immediately strip the camera and
viewpoint stuff out and make it into an .inc file, my main file just includes
what it needs. (when I say "my", I really mean "what Bram set up for me years
ago and I still use, because it works")
