Re: Brick Fest 2003 Animation Competition

Stefan, Thank you for the copyright question. I was waiting for it to come up so that I can answer this question. Despite what any RIAA official or record industry executive will tell you, it is not illegal to copy a copyrighted work. Let me type (...) Lugnet wouldn't let me quote all text in the message, so for the lugnet.animation people I will just post a link: (URL) echo the comments I posted at (URL) kind of miss the way you're going to deal with copyrighted music.   Me too!

Just wanted to echo Stefan's and Jason's excitement and "Thank You" to Todd for getting this set up for us. Now it's time to generate some animated action. Gald to see an animation topic right off the main Lugnet group! Thanks to Todd and Greg, and Stefan, and whoever else we might thank. Big smile, Jason Rowoldt (22 years ago, 5-May-03, to lugnet.animation)

Out of the dark corners of .publish.cinema, into the light of .animation! Thank you, Todd, for moving us here. I hope more people will notice us and start posting here, and that people who are already into animation will find us more easily. At (...) (22 years ago, 5-May-03, to lugnet.animation)

  Animation & Sports group rename

Today I'm going to tackle the renaming of lugnet.publish.cinema to lugnet.animation and lugnet.football to lugnet.sports. This transformation will basically go in 4 steps: 1. First the old groups will be disabled, so that no new posts can be made. (...) (22 years ago, 4-May-03, to lugnet.animation, lugnet.sports, lugnet.admin.nntp)

  Re: time-lapse

  Re: time-lapse

Try QuickMovie 1.5. It's OS X Ready, and I believe does everything you're asking. It's shareware and quite easy to use. I'm pretty sure it can do 1000 frames at a time, and it might be able to do all 2000 in one go. Otherwise, just make two movies (...) (22 years ago, 19-Apr-03, to lugnet.trains, lugnet.animation)

  time-lapse

I'm taking a 2000-frame (80 seconds) time-lapse movie today of the PNLTC layout at the Oregon Convention Center.   Re: A Call for ideas for BrickFest 2003 Animation Competition

I have a suggestion. Can we hold a general Animation/Lego Film/Home Movie festival? I'd like to show soome short films but I rather not enter then into a "competition". I never made them to be competitive, yet still I'd like to share. So can we have (...) (22 years ago, 5-Apr-03, to lugnet.animation)
