Of course, the new tree sucks - it defeats the purpose of having Lego rather
than any other plastic tree.  With the segmented tree, I can make them vary in
height and give the trunk a unique shape.  I suppose I could mix in a certain
amount of the new tree, but I'm glad I have the a large stock of the
customizable ones.

If they start selling for $10, then I have at least $400 in palm trees!  I want
my jungle island to look like a jungle!  I'm going through my piles of Lego and
organizing them at the moment, so I'll have to see how many trees I actually
have, but I wouldn't be surprised to have over 50.

I have a great deal of them too, but I would not sell them. I have to
have some vegetation, even if it is a *palm tree*. :)

(...) Yes, and with my Art Deco town district, those old palm trees make for a great Miami Beach look. Gary Istok (25 years ago, 11-Jan-00, to lugnet.general, lugnet.pirates, lugnet.adventurers)
