  My thoughts on Dino Island

Well fellow Adventurers I have had some time (finally) to pour over the Dino Island scans. By the way if any one still needs them I have them. I must have sent out 40 emails since the brew-ha-ha over Huw's initial post! Glad to see there is some (...) (25 years ago, 9-Dec-99, to lugnet.adventurers)

Re: My thoughts on Dino Island

Surely someone has something to say. Bruce, Joseph, Craig, Steve.....where are all the adventurers? Richard, Lindsay, Mike, Ed.....you guys? Hey you guys, this isn't funny anymore. Where is everyone? It's gettin' kinda creepy here on Dino Island all (...) (25 years ago, 9-Dec-99, to lugnet.adventurers)

Re: My thoughts on Dino Island

(...) Hey, I am a fan of this line. I love the Indiana Jones feel to the Egypt sets, but I never fell in love with the *whole* Amazon line. I don't think I'll ever get the 5986 unless they cut the price in half, but I have all the rest of both (...) (25 years ago, 9-Dec-99, to lugnet.adventurers)

Re: My thoughts on Dino Island

(...) Good morning Aaron, I am glad to hear from someone. I struggled for hours last night to juggle the kids and household chores around reviewing those sets and I had hoped when I got to work this morning that I would have SOMETHING to look at in (...)   Re: My thoughts on Dino Island

Hi everyone. I'm relatively new to .adventurers. I've only really posted once, in the past, trying to find set 5909 (which everyone here was extremely helpful with . . .thanks!). Anyway, seeing as how Mark wanted input, I figured I'd post again . . (...) (25 years ago, 9-Dec-99, to lugnet.adventurers)

(...) Yes I did, thanks for asking. I finally got word that the Construction Site had some and recieved it a couple of weeks ago. (...) Some of the traps are kind of stupid, IMHO, but I think some of them are really neat. Plus, the thing I really (...) (25 years ago, 9-Dec-99, to lugnet.adventurers)

Re: My thoughts on Dino Island

Good analysis, Mark. Love the set breakdown. A few comments I have: 1. Vegetation--I agree, I wish there were a bit more. :) I want this to have a Jurassic paradise feel, not just to be a stony island with dinosaurs. 2. It would be nice to have some (...)   Re: My thoughts on Dino Island

(...) Certainly looks that way to me, which means I *will* be buying the big set- not something I normally do for any theme. Actually, it looks like I'll be doing that multiple times in the coming year... oww, my wallet hurts already... :D eric (25 years ago, 9-Dec-99, to lugnet.adventurers)

Re: My thoughts on Dino Island

(...) I guess the ebay prices on vegetation will be soaring when these come out. I had bought a BUNCH for Amazon, and these are going to require lots more vegetation. I think some raised base plates (I'm thinking the 6278 set here) would add a nice (...) (25 years ago, 9-Dec-99, to lugnet.adventurers)
