Good analysis, Mark. Love the set breakdown. A few comments I have:
1. Vegetation--I agree, I wish there were a bit more. :) I want this to
have a Jurassic paradise feel, not just to be a stony island with dinosaurs.
2. It would be nice to have some more normal minifigs as the "grunts" that
help run the dino lab, wrangle dinosaurs, etc. This is a big operation,
after all.
3. Another "camping out" set with tents and stuff would be nice (like that
one from the Egyptian subtheme) -- I doubt Johnny & Co. are staying at the
Lost Island Hotel.
And is that one of those big curved Belville baseplates in the dino research
lab?

| (...) Certainly looks that way to me, which means I *will* be buying the big set- not something I normally do for any theme. Actually, it looks like I'll be doing that multiple times in the coming year... oww, my wallet hurts already... :D eric (25 years ago, 9-Dec-99, to lugnet.adventurers)

| (...) I guess the ebay prices on vegetation will be soaring when these come out. I had bought a BUNCH for Amazon, and these are going to require lots more vegetation. I think some raised base plates (I'm thinking the 6278 set here) would add a nice (...) (25 years ago, 9-Dec-99, to lugnet.adventurers)
