i just wanted to share a recipe for a cool adventurer character that serves • --snipped description--
voila! now you have a character i like to call...SUE NAMI!

EXCELLENT!  what a cool idea to have a female villainess (and a clever name to
boot).  i might try something similar.

you d' minifig man, craig!

I must heartily agree with Joseph on this one.  Craig is the minifig master!
Keep those ideas for adventurers coming in.  The cast of characters is so
stale any breath of fresh air is welcome.  Thanks again,

well, o.k., then... but you've no idea how many johnny thunders i've
mutilated....

i have a teddy roosevelt/ rough rider thing going on as well. i modified a
baron head by removing the scar & moustache. then painting a brown van dyke on.
using the baron torso w/ brown hat & legs, garnish with a white or yellow
feather... :-)

~i love the shiny monacle on the baron head, and also made a millionaire 'fig
by removing scar and moustache from the face, and painting sam sinister's shirt
green for the body. so now, my expedition has it's wealthy backer as well.

using a johnny torso w/ the gun removed, add a timmie head w/ red baseball
cap... it's johnny's kid side-kick...uh.... i haven't thought of a
clever weather pun name yet...

one of my favorites is SCOOTER McCLOUD, harry cane's nephew. i used an aviator
body with a heavily modified sam sinister head. i removed the hair, evil
eyebrows, & van dyke, (just glasses and smile left) and painted red hair above
the eyes (like on a castle wench)

a painted black pith helmet on an older model policeman makes a great bobby. i
like the smile /sharp moustache for this one, and a grey stick from #7121 makes
for a fine "unadulterated" nightstick, but a black lance cut in half is
perfect.

trust me, kids. craigo-lego is just the tip of the iceberg....when i can get to
a scanner, all of this will be added.

i also made the hot air balloon from #5988 in gray and black, connecting two of
the big black buckets (from #6037 ~witch's windship~) together with a pair of
the bricks that have bottom sockets on the sides. it has brown rigging instead
of black, and red trim along the top, but otherwise it's the same design.

this should keep y'all busy for a while...;-)
later ~ craig

(...) Cirro Stratus! :) On second thought, this would probably work better for the Wealthy Expidition Backer. How about his son, Nim Bo Stratus? What can I say, I'm taking Meteorology right now. :) Jeff (25 years ago, 27-Oct-99, to lugnet.adventurers)
