Re: "Is he seriously thinking it's going to work?"

(...) Where did you buy that set? I've never seen it before. You should take his comment as an inspiration to design a scorpion-towed vehicle. The scorpion is very much neglected by animal-towed vehicle builders. But how many would you need? (24 years ago, 22-Oct-00, to lugnet.adventurers, lugnet.off-topic.fun)

  Would a general/pilot in WW1.........

Would a general/pilot in WW1 or around the times the Adventurers setting have shoulder pad-thingys on them, like Capitan Redbeard in the Pirates? I have created so far a German general/pilot, but I'm not sure if a pilot of WW1 would have those (...) (24 years ago, 21-Oct-00, to lugnet.adventurers)

"Is he seriously thinking it's going to work?"

The quote above is from one of my NLF:s, after he saw my newly purchased 1182. The thing he found so fun, was the fact that the building instructions show the scorpion attached to the end of a chain, which in turn is attached to the raft. I had no (...)   Re: What is Oasis Ambush?

(...) Thanks for explaining that to me Ben! I think the mummy thinks I am distasteful though. (24 years ago, 16-Oct-00, to lugnet.adventurers)

  Re: What is Oasis Ambush?

(...) It's an oasis because there is a tree growing in the middle of the desert, so there is water (inferred) and it is an ambush because you are lured there by a nice palm tree and what appears to be treasure, but it really contains a scarry mummy (...)   Re: ROLLBACK! (Insanely cheap LEGO at Wal-Mart)

Thanks for the info, but where is this Wal-Mart located? The on-line store at Wal-mart.com appears closed for renovations. And Wal-Mart's sales vary greatly from store to store. To this day, I have not found any good deals in the Mid-Hudson Valley, (...) (24 years ago, 13-Oct-00, to lugnet.loc.ca, lugnet.technic, lugnet.adventurers, lugnet.market.shopping)

One thing I don't really like about it, is that his arms have "spikes" oor "feathers" or whatever they're called, like tha dragons do. Appearantly, it's the same arms, but I'd like them more without the spikes. --Tobias (...) (24 years ago, 11-Oct-00, to lugnet.adventurers)

  Tyrannosaurus the dodo

Look at the body of T-rex, without its tail or snout attached. Don't you think it looks like a Dodo? For that matter, it also looks like a chicken without feathers. Hmmm... Maybe birds really evolve from Dinosaurs. Cheers, Hao-yang Wa (24 years ago, 10-Oct-00, to lugnet.adventurers)
