From the fossil records, really we cannot know what colors these dinosaurs were in when they were alive. The artists usually picture dinosaurs in gray or other dull colors, because today somehow large animals are never colorful (e.g., elephant, (...) (24 years ago, 25-Jul-00, to lugnet.adventurers)

I had a lovely dream last night that I was the first to discover a new dino set in a under $10 page of a catalog. It was a car driving through a cave with Barron Von Barron inside. I was VERY surprised today to find new and so far unknown Dino sets in my local toy shop in Germany.... Hi ! I have some problems getting the Amazon Jungle sets here in Germany. The 5956 "Expedition Balloon", which was in the German 1999 catalogue, was available in some stores. Whoops accidently hit enter instead of tab on that last post sorry. Anyways I think the island hopper is the best set in the theme but I think a spruce goose would be way cooler. I have a good but strange explination for the double-color dinos. The gray-legged stegosaurus is really a young elaphant in a coustume. Well, when I saw the S@H pics, I was heavily disappointed of both dinosaurs and entire sets. C'mon Lego, a grey Triceratops with white(?) legs ?? A brown Stegosaurus with white (!!) legs??? Just to throw in my two cents... I think the Island hopper Airplane is one of the best overall models I have seen lately.
