May be it's not *that* bad. At least that they consist of two different colours
means that they are not "single part animals", but put together from different
parts. At first I thought they put the four legs into the rest of the body, but
my second thought is that they have one piece which makes up the "belly" of the
creature and also the legs.
So, the good thing about this is, that this "dinosaur base piece" is the same
for the triceratops *and* the stegosaurus (and maybe of other forthcoming Lego
creatures). So at least you can take apart those dk-grey/orange and
brown/grey freaks and put them together dk-grey/grey and brown/orange, which
looks OK to me. Maybe if TLC makes other animals with the same base you get
even more combinations.
Well, this is what I hope - that you dan take the dinosaurs apart. Maybe TLC
found that too complex for the poor little children and even glued the parts
together.
Anybody out there who allready as the dino sets and can prove (proof?) my
theory ?

On the other hand: It could have been worse. At least TLC did not take their
favourite red and add blue legs...
