Charter Change for market.buy-sell-trade and market.brickshops:
There is a sense among some that the market.brickshops charter is unclear.
There are two competing suggestions in this area. Both parties agree that
the charter for brickshops as written now is unclear but want to change it
in rather different directions.
One advocates that all traffic that flogs stuff or sale on BrickLink and the
like be banned from market.buy-sell-trade and confined only to
market.brickshops and that the charters of both groups make that clear.
Theory, status (is BrickLink(tm) up or down?), and mechanics posts about
brickshops would remain in brickshops.
Another advocates rather differently, that brickshops become a low traffic
group for theory, status, mechanics sorts of discussions only, and flogging
posts be confined to buy-sell-trade only.
Both agree that posting flogs to both places is not good and ought to be
contra-charter of each group.
I fear that I may have let my bias show on this one as I am for one and
against the other. Please forgive. (if you can't tell which one, great!)
