Agent does all tasks in sequential order. But when downloading binaries
during the normal download of postings, it changes between the tasks...
And I don't think it makes more than one connections to the nntp-server.
Maybe a control-connection, but I'm not sure. My regular ISP had a time
where it didn't allow for more than two connections at the same time
(because it's a cable-tv ISP, some people where using their home-pc as a
newsserver for dial ins...), and I didn't have problems with that. Outlook
(ok, it's not a news-client, but some people are using it, tho...) does make
several connections at once.

CNews (the newsserver software running here) is super-wicked efficient, so it's possible for it to serve data to 1 person (maybe 2) with a load average still at 0.00 -- since it's a load average is an average, after all. But I still think it's (...) (26 years ago, 29-Sep-98, to lugnet.admin.general)
