The 0.00's there are highly suspicious... Could have been a network
traffic problem (at pair.com or elsewhere) preventing anyone from accessing
the lugnet.com server. Someone mentioned in e-mail this morning that they
experienced a couple DNS lookup failures for a few minutes.

I must admit, I don't understand net hiccups much.
But everything I can tell from the server is that it's just sitting here
purring along very quietly and happily.

If Agent starts multiple threads of execution, and your OS doesn't handle
large numbers of multiple threads well or Agent's multithreading code is
not O(n), that might be the problem...?

| (...) It was technically, according to my watch, exactly 9:53AM when I wrote the time in that article and my Task number was still steadily heading downward as time passed. So, I don't know why the load was 0.00. I was still busily downloading "all (...) (26 years ago, 29-Sep-98, to lugnet.admin.general)
