My assessment: you’re just looking for sympathy because you messed up, and
you found a convenient whipping boy who happened to make a joke, (me) to try
to hang your problems on.

My assessment is the fact that you are trying so hard to steer this away from
the original topic is pathetic. It would have ended at the first post if you
were man enough to offer an appology to the library and NILTC or if the
administration was capible of policing it’s own.

Do we even know that the library took offense? I’ve read nothing here at LUGNET
from the Library that found Larry’s post offensive. Furthermore, reading
Larry’s post from any outsider point of view, how could one take serious offense
to warrant the type of apology you’re asking for--it was humourous and in fun,
at least to me.
As well, NILTC doesn’t seem to be stating that they’re truly offende(unless I
missed a post), and, again, if you reas Larry’s words, it’s not offensive--it
was humourous.
