If so, are you saying that as a LEGO employee you think it’s OK to pass around
information that LEGO doesn’t yet WANT public? Regardless of whether you signed
an NDA or not, is that behaviour that is the mark of a good employee? If you
DID sign an NDA I bet it’s a pretty clear cut violation, one that is grounds for
swift termination.
Regardless of whether Ascential Confidential info is or isn’t already leaked
somewhere else, I would take a dim view of an Ascential employee that did that
with Ascential confidential information, and would support their termination
about as fast as they could be marched out of the building.
I think maybe you’ve now (perhaps inadvertantly) admitted the real reason you
were terminated, that you disregarded LEGO’s desire to keep new product
information confidential and propagated it further. (however it was that you
obtained it) Isn’t that really what it was? All this LUGNET stuff is just a red
herring, isn’t it?
My assessment: you’re just looking for sympathy because you messed up, and you
found a convenient whipping boy who happened to make a joke, (me) to try to hang
your problems on.
THAT’S pathetic, if it’s true. Is it?
