(...) I think this is a good idea. If such database is hosted on Lugnet, or a clear link to another place everybody can use the same names when they want to auction/buy/sell/trade pieces. Actually subject line says all. How about making a move about it? Many efforts ongoing around the community requires this. The first examples that come to mind are piece auctions, set inventory database and Lego CAD studies. We have already several (...) (25 years ago, 6-Jul-99, to lugnet.admin.database, lugnet.cad, lugnet.cad.dev, lugnet.db.inv, lugnet.general)

I was starting to inventory my sets, unfortuanately after two hours of data entry into Excel (stupidly without any saves), my system decided to go south, 113 sets down the drain... (I also lost a list of corrections to the Lugnet data base for about (...) (25 years ago, 3-Jul-99, to lugnet.admin.database, lugnet.general)

I recently bought an 8482 Cybermaster set at Zany Brainy. Here's some info for (URL) box copyright date is 1998, 1999 The box/suitcase sleeve gives a piece count of 891. I thought you would like to know that according to an old Brick Kicks that offered set 6885 to US customers, the US name of the set is Mobile Launcher. According to another Brick Kicks, the US name of 6643 is simply Fire Truck, not Fire Chief's (...) (25 years ago, 14-Jun-99, to lugnet.admin.database)

for the sets you are maissing pictures to: if it is an accessory set it could be in the kl.net catalog archive... if it is a regular set with building instructions on kl.net then get the instructions and cut the picture from those. (25 years ago, 31-May-99, to lugnet.admin.database)
