  Re: Brickshelf find: Hello Vifam

(...) In fact, it is a direct violation of the TOS. I would suggest that the post be cancelled. Even the images are TOS violations of Maj.com. Conduct such as this is highly unbecoming and very disappointing, Stefan. JOHN (19 years ago, 19-Dec-05, to lugnet.admin.terms, FTX)

  Re: .mecha loading slowly??

(...) If the location of .mecha as a subgroup of .build is the reason for the slow loading, we should take another attempt to what (URL) Mark suggested 10 month ago>.   Problems with confirming

Hi! I have already discussed this with Matthew Miller, but a final solution is still missing. I can post again, which is good, but I do have problems. When confirming I have to use the link, but the mail does not work. (with is much more convinient (...) (19 years ago, 17-Feb-06, to lugnet.admin.general)

This was once the problem - when trying to contact lugnet admin, it failed, as it was not possible to send mail to lugnet.com - quite a problem as it was not even possible to report it.   Re: Bloviate (was Re: Warnings( was: WAKE UP!))

(...) That's not quite a good analogy. A government is imposed upon you. LUGNET is a free service that you use (yes, I know there are memberships, but they're structured more like donations). It's sort of like complaining about, say, Google or (...) (18 years ago, 4-Apr-06, to lugnet.admin.general)

Re: Announcing the new LUGNET Link List

I would suggest the two category headings of: - Local User Groups - Online Communities "Local User Groups" are geographically significant and involve face-to-face meetings and often hold recurring public displays or events.   clarifying/reminding users of "the rules" [Re: Help Wanted]

(...) Wow, I totally agree. Though not so much about the added Curator responsibility. I tried to keep that job fun (^_^); and I'd hate to see the individual groups become any more like mini-universes. I think I prefer the idea of having a site-wide (...)   Re: New Terms of Use for LUGNET

Some thoughts on the discussion group terms: #7: clarify to allow use of FTX. #9.2: I think it would be reasonable to allow auction postings in groups that specifically allow them, though it should be pointed out that set of groups would generally (...)   Re: New LUGMap for LUGNET

(...) Hi Dan, IMO, "real" maps like maps.google.com, local.live.com or www.frappr.com always look somehow unsightly.
