  LUGNET going away?!?

(...) So what HAVE you announced, Suz? This is the first I've heard about any such possibility, and I'm very dismayed by it. To me, LUGNET is the place to discuss LEGO. It's also the only web-based forum I can stand to read and post to – I've tried (...) (19 years ago, 15-Jul-05, to lugnet.admin.general, FTX)

Re: Random thought of the day

(...) I care as well. I love LUGNET. I love the community here at LUGNET. I love the discussions I've had (and will continue to have) on LUGNET. I personally believe that the AFOL community will lose something pretty spectacular would LUGNET (...) (19 years ago, 15-Jul-05, to lugnet.admin.general)

(...) As a matter of interest, how much time does it take you and Todd (and/or whoever) to do the autopilot stuff? From what I can see the biggest regular manual labour is new users, with server and access maintenace the next biggest (including (...) (19 years ago, 15-Jul-05, to lugnet.admin.general)

Re: Change in handling of real names on LUGNET web pages?

(...) I think this is a good move in the right direction. A quick tangent: for those of us who have been around the LEGO community for awhile now, having our real names out in public on LUGNET has helped me to associate names of builders to people I (...)   Not getting authentication e-mails

Is there a problem with authentication e-mails again? I've posted twice via NNTP and not yet received an authentication e-mail, plus I submitted a multiple post authentication request from the web site and have not yet received that e-mail either. (...)   Re: Mail-to address "improper" according to Juno webmail

Hi Mike, apparently your mail client expects the more modern address format of "name" <address@domain.com> I have changed the script so that the sender is now: From: "LUGNET Server" <news-authentication...ugnet.com> This appears to be standard (...)   Mail-to address "improper" according to Juno webmail

Hi! I'd like to notify you that the default mail-to address when replying to authentication messages are deemed improper by Juno webmail.   My Point Of View !!!
