  Re: PRR T1 #6110

(...) Frankly, neither can I. When you posted the pictures from the PennLUG Display at The Railroad Museum of Pennsylvania, I thought for sure I'd see one that you built on the tracks somewhere... Digging deep into the Brickshelf archives, I did (...) (19 years ago, 1-Jul-07, to lugnet.trains, FTX)

Hello all My names Chris and I'm brand new to the Lego modeling community. I've just begun with the LDraw software and editors like MLCad,Leocad, LDD and SD 3D but of course am full of questions and a bit of frustration too. I saw these two books (...) (19 years ago, 17-Mar-08, to lugnet.cad)

  Alternate firmware upload from MacOSX

Hi all, We're trying to wrap up our alternative runtime for the RCX (first), and soon the NXT. I am struggling, however, to upload our firmware from the Mac using a USB tower.   Re: What TLG set "revolutionized" your building?

Hey, Great question. As with many castle guys, I would have to say it was set (URL) 3739, the Dan Siskind Blacksmith Shop>. This is just such a well-designed set, and building it was a lesson in putting together a building (particularly the roof). (...) (19 years ago, 30-May-07, to lugnet.build, FTX)

Re: Has Lego begun producing "war toys"?

Hi all, A good, intelligent, and civil debate here, I'm sorry I didn't see it earlier. There is no doubt that LEGO has moved away from their diehard position against violent toys. I'm not sure the new Agents line is really any more military looking (...) (19 years ago, 5-Feb-08, to lugnet.general, lugnet.build.military)

Getting patches integrated into the brickos?

I've been trying to build a cross compiler and brick-os on my machine for a day now and well, what can I say except that all the how-to's and instructions for building brick-os seem to be either wrong, bad or out of date. (e.g. they talk about very (...) (19 years ago, 23-Apr-07, to lugnet.robotics.rcx.legos)

Re: Questions about fan involvement with TLC

(...) I, for one, would welcome Lego re-releasing the Yellow Castle... I'd like to have a whole classic knight army, with flip-up visors. :) And I would also welcome Lego to re-release classic sets in classic colors if possible... I'm still not (...) (21 years ago, 15-Apr-06, to lugnet.general)

(...) Well, they do... you provided a list above - "Components made in Denmark, Austria, Hungary, Mexico and the Czech Republic". Now, I'm guessing that the first two (at least) are not really cheap labour markets - but I could be wrong. (...) Well, (...) (19 years ago, 5-Jan-08, to lugnet.dear-lego, FTX)
