  Re: Silly storage question

(...) Yes, it is. There are conflicting opinions about this. I have heard that keeping things together means the bricks deform slightly and get looser. I have some 1x2s I put together in 1998 to store them that I just took apart and some of them do (...) (22 years ago, 10-Nov-02, to lugnet.storage)

Re: If finally happened, I can't believe it

Funny about those 1x1 grey bricks. While building mine(got it on clearance at Target for $35.00) I noticed that I was missing a bunch of 1x1 dark grey bricks. Then I noticed that I had a few light grey ones left over. Guess what? I used them by (...) (26 years ago, 8-Mar-99, to lugnet.general)

Re: LEGOs dirty trick: making money by not producing all masks as announced.

(...) I'm not asked, but this is one of my "favorite" topics, since I'm really concerned about the decreasing quality of bricks (to be measured) as well as the quality (playability) of sets (which is quite subjective).   Re: Old LEGO and LEGO with holes in studs.

I think originally this is a molding technology reason: the studs can't be full or the plastic would shrink while getting cold (and stud dimensions must be very precise). So in regular bricks studs are hollowed from below. This is not possible for (...) (22 years ago, 5-Nov-02, to lugnet.general)
