How LEGO FACTORY can stimulate AFOL interest (and sales).

I was looking at the Lego Factory site yesterday. And like some other AFOLs I was rather disappointed with the Micro Lego scale. I don't care much for those 1x1 headlights (or pigeon holes as I like to call them) used as windows. It is too bad that (...) (20 years ago, 21-Nov-04, to lugnet.general)

  Train Set Design (Help?)

I realize that Track Designer has an elevation feature, but are there other sources of information on creating terrian for an L-Gauge train set?   Re: 4562 Revealed! (was Spring Cleaning...)

Peeron's inventory for this set is SO screwy, I can't trust it. It is listing 8x8 bricks, and teal 2x4s, that none of the 9 I've gotten have. It would be nice if the inventory ONLY listed the [standard] bricks from the set, as many people parting (...) (20 years ago, 4-Nov-04, to lugnet.lego)

  Re: Universal Color List...finally

(...) Personally, I am surprised at some of the entries on the list. First, why is MEDIUM GREEN on the list?? It is not even a very common color. Except for some recent baseplates, foliage pieces, and pieces used in Belville sets, I cannot think of (...) (20 years ago, 22-Nov-04, to lugnet.color, lugnet.lego, FTX)

(...) Hi Geoffrey, The arches from that box are the same pink as the ones from 5873. If you list them on BrickLink, list them under Pink. And if you got any of them list the new brighter pink 2 x 4 bricks under Bright Light Pink. For the different (...) (20 years ago, 21-Nov-04, to lugnet.lego.direct)

Duplo Castle set 4776 - and a problem

I picked up the 'Dragon Tower' Duplo Castle set (4776) today at LLCA and it is a very nice set. I was worried that I would not like them, that they would be "to MBish". While they do have a hint of "MBish" to it - it is still a very cool set and the (...) (20 years ago, 22-Nov-04, to lugnet.duplo, lugnet.castle, lugnet.lego, FTX)

  Re: 5359 spoted at Target

It's a very similar set to (URL) Brick Vac - designed I think, to allow kids to pick up Basic sized bricks. Dunno if that model was any better at picking bricks up than the 5359. Both the 1666 and the 5359 didn't really "suck" anything up, they (...) (20 years ago, 11-Nov-04, to lugnet.market.shopping)
