Re: Suggestions required for medium sized sets with lots of grey

(...) It's difficult to find such sets. After many years of parting out, my light grey brick stock is tiny compared to white, red, blue, yellow, and black. I suspect that for some sizes, I have more orange and green than light grey. In the US, one (...) (20 years ago, 18-Jan-05, to lugnet.market.shopping, lugnet.color)

I will NOT sign that letter. Feel free to send along the following though; Dear Lego company, I too am an AFOL, and the above letter may let you believe that ALL AFOLs' feel this way. This is not so. I for one do agree with the statement that many (...) (20 years ago, 19-Jan-05, to lugnet.color, lugnet.dear-lego)

  Whitening yellowed bricks

HI, I bought a Futuron space set that has some of the white pieces yellowed. I checked the FAQ and will try soaking them in a bleach solution to restore the colour. I'm concerned about the printed pieces though. Does anyone have experience on this. (...) (20 years ago, 7-Jan-05, to lugnet.general)

I have to agree with the main reason why this letter was created. The old color of grey was a lot less painful on the eyes, it even blended in quite well with the new colors. It certainly is a lot more difficult to tell one brick apart from another. (...) (20 years ago, 19-Jan-05, to lugnet.color, lugnet.dear-lego)

I partially agree with this letter. Daniel Jackson (14), Alaska USA. I would love to have the original colors back, as well as see the new colors in some sets. I want the original colors to be the iprimary/i colors. The new colors are fine for the (...) (20 years ago, 19-Jan-05, to lugnet.color, lugnet.dear-lego, FTX)

I disagree with most of this letter. Yes, it makes sorting harder. Yes, The Lego Group underestimated how upset some people would be (as I was!). But assuming your focus group work on colours was valid, neither of the above reasons is good enough to (...) (20 years ago, 19-Jan-05, to lugnet.color, lugnet.dear-lego)
