| | Super positive review of #4894 Mythical Creatures
|
| As a virtual palate cleanser for my previous review, I had the pleasure of purchasing and building the big green dragon. The Designer sets, IMHO, are the last bastion of the Lego that was. All the sets in this series have eptomized the Lego building (...) (18 years ago, 22-Jul-06, to lugnet.reviews)

| (...) I had a look at the 1/8" plastic tubing in model railway shops and stalls at shows. I think it's ABS or polystyrene. I have no issues with cutting the tubes either :-) but I don't like painting stuff used as or with LEGO bricks. I think the (...) | (...) Thanks! (...) I'm somewhat satisfied with how the Oval Office turned out. It's recognizeable, which is the main thing. The real one has white-paned windows, not red, but as someone once said, "You go to build with the army of bricks you have, (...) (18 years ago, 14-Jul-06, to lugnet.build.ancient, FTX)
