Super positive review of #4894 Mythical Creatures

As a virtual palate cleanser for my previous review, I had the pleasure of purchasing and building the big green dragon. The Designer sets, IMHO, are the last bastion of the Lego that was. All the sets in this series have eptomized the Lego building (...) (18 years ago, 22-Jul-06, to lugnet.reviews)

Is anyone from Southern CA attending Brickfest? I would be interested in ordering some of these bricks, depending on the selections, but I am not going to be attending so I can't order. I have no issues with cutting the tubes either :-) but I don't like painting stuff used as or with LEGO bricks. I think the (...)   A very DIRTY story!

Hey all, These photos have been languishing on my hard drive for several years, and as an aperitif to a much needed update to my website (it's been over a YEAR! *hangs head in shame and flagellates self on naughty bits w/ stacked baseplates*), I (...) (18 years ago, 22-Jul-06, to lugnet.general)

Mostly negative review of #3827 Adventures on Bikini Bottom

I will start with the positive things first: The mini-figs of all the characters are very well done. In particular, the Patrick mini-fig, with it's non-fixed, turnable head is the stand-out. I loved how Gary was done, the lime green cherry piece for (...) (18 years ago, 21-Jul-06, to lugnet.reviews)
