   Hello Everybody!

My Name is Dan Demmler!
This is my first posting on Lugnet.

Welcome to the Lego User Group Network!

I want to show you my first Mechas!
My first own Mechas start with a serie that I call the Mecha-Mars-Serie.

Ohhhh, good idea and a logical one too. Exploring Mars using Machines is the future.

   • The first step for me to build a mecha was to rebuild Eric Sophies Little-Bot, using the instructions of him.
Thank you for the instructions! The result =>
Battrax 2

I love the Battrax 2 Little Bot version!

I am so glad all these years later the Build-a-Bot instructions are teaching people ideas and principles for Mecha Building.

Even if the design is dated, (meaning old), the instructions are a good way to become familiar with some techniques used to make Mecha.
Other people recently have made instructions for Mecha designs. Try them all!

Check out the way you made that head! I like designs like that! Wow.
You caught me by suprise!

   • Here my second step:
Build without an instruction, but rebuild a Mecha (Eric Sophies Klymyth) on my own way =>
Neuro

OooOOOOoooooh, a good design to test! You were able to make the head very close to the original.
Plus I only have a few pictures of that robot in my gallery so I was even more impressed!

   • My third step:
Was to create a really own MOC, so my own creation. So I Build this Mecha =>
Cydonia

Good building in this model. I like how you lined up the arm sockets with the leg sockets. Plus the use of slopes is nice. Good job!

   • After I build Cydonia I had enough bricks to create my next MOC, also a Mecha =>
Xeno

This is a super cool model!

Specifically, I like the way the front of the Mecha looks. The use of those canopies is really nice looking.

I also like the way you used slopes to surround the arm joint’s sockets:

I guess I like to build like that myself, so I was drawn to that style.
Perhaps you can develop the feet to bend on your next model.

Here you can find all my Mecha pics, in my Brickshelf gallery:

To find more about and behind the Mechas visit my Brickshelf gallery, follow the Link above. Enyoy the pictures!

Good gallery with many detail pictures, thank you.

   About me:
I am building with Lego since my childhod. I also have darkages.
I am from germany and writing in english is difficult for my.
So please forgive me my formistake in writing or grammar.

Like the D-meister said, your English is better than our German, so you are doing fine! Welcome to LUGNET.
