Re: Southern Legofest, Dolphins and Richard Franks (!)

(...) I've heard that after finishing work, he went on holiday to Toronto for five weeks, and is probably still there. He didn't bother to tell anyone though as his old (work) email address should still bounce to his new one. Hurrah! Richard PS. (...) (25 years ago, 2-Sep-99, to lugnet.loc.uk)

  Lego copy (cant spell plagiarism)

I foun a bit of lego today, as a waitress was clearing a table in a Charlie Chalk Restaurant. Just a small white space wheel, but it felt 'funny'. The sheet of instructions was on the table too - Ice Planet 2002 set 9604 - made by the 'Enlighten' (...) (25 years ago, 23-Jan-00, to lugnet.loc.uk)

Looks a bit like someone took a real LEGO box, scanned the artwork, changed the company logo and put a new number on it. (...) (20 years ago, 2-Dec-04, to lugnet.general)

(...) Take a look at TLC's picture of whats inside a BLOCKO Harry Potter set: (URL) at the minifig box with workers; it looks appealing to me - mayde TLC should be inspired by the clones?!? Also look at this pic: (URL) is wellknown, but look at the (...) (22 years ago, 24-Jan-03, to lugnet.general, lugnet.off-topic.clone-brands)

  Odd 6038 Discovery

Hmmm... I got my 6038s today, and this makes me very happy--sets from my Dark Ages! Glorious things. However, I noticed something, and I wonder if anyone else did as well: My catalogue sheets are in Japanese. I've only opened one (damaged box, easy (...) I seem to recall that Mike Rayhawk was prevented from selling his BrikWars artwork for that reason (although I don't think he ever (...) I just got back from my honeymoon trip to BC and Alberta. We made some good finds.
