BrickBay News: House of Bricks -> Brick Depot

I have made some changes at my BrickBay store: - Changed name from "House of Bricks" to "Brick Depot" - I never liked "House of Bricks" but it was the only thing that came to mind when I first set up my shop. - I have started adding parts to my (...)   Re: Bulk Bricks online survey - results...

(...) I agree that the results indicate a huge desire for roof bricks. However, if the assorted roof brick packs are revived, I think TLG needs to re-think the part assortment in those packs. I managed to get 30 of the 5216 black roof bricks when (...) (20 years ago, 25-May-04, to lugnet.lego)

Re: My new MOC: Greisbart the Mage's Tower

Hello! Thanks for your comment! (...) To tell the truth the form of the top part was a result of not really knowing how to sculpture it. I just put bricks on bricks straight on... Anyway, I'm quite pleased with how it looks myself :-) Bye Jojo, (...) (21 years ago, 9-Jul-03, to lugnet.castle, FTX)

  AT&T commercial w/LEGO

This was on ABC... the commercial used a simulation of bricks to build a phone, a roaring lion, and other stuff (can't remember what else). It wasn't neccessarily LEGO bricks per se, but bricks with studs nonetheless. Too small to even try to make (...) (23 years ago, 12-Jun-01, to lugnet.mediawatch)

  MOC Challenge: Bulk Pack Model

I recently bought the Sand Red 2x4 bricks bulk pack, and when toying with it I decided to try to build something using all the bricks, and only the bricks, found in that pack. What I came up with is a spider sculpture, which can be found at: (URL) (...) (23 years ago, 18-Sep-01, to lugnet.announce, lugnet.build)

  New Megabloks molds!

Today I discovered that Megabloks has started using new molds, at least for its 2x4 bricks. A few days ago I built set #9762 Destroyer. Somehow the bricks felt different. I'm still not sure why, but closer investigation has revealed: 1) the logo is (...) (22 years ago, 7-Dec-02, to lugnet.off-topic.clone-brands)

Re: Bulk Bricks online survey - results...

The survey seems to say "bring back #5216 roof bricks and the red one, plus grey 2x2 tiles (alas)." Something we can agree on anyway. Only a few items stake out new ground for bulk. Or more colors of the mixed roof and tile packs we have now. -Erik (20 years ago, 25-May-04, to lugnet.lego)
