  Re: Panaka is yellow?

(...) All human LEGOfolk are yellow, including Asians and Native Americans. Why should LEGOfolk of African descent be any different? Was there a fuss when the Islanders showed up, and they were yellow? I'm not entirely sure what racial group they're (...) (25 years ago, 23-Dec-99, to lugnet.starwars)

(...) people seem to like it a lot! I've received many emails today from people willing to participate. I'll probably send the Minifig next week, if all goes as planned. Terry (20 years ago, 14-May-04, to lugnet.general)

Hi Terry, I think this is a great idea. You may not be aware of this, but Classic-Castle.com has an unofficial mascot named Henry. This little minifig knight is traveling around the world to various countries. He was created by Patrick Morgan and (...) (20 years ago, 14-May-04, to lugnet.general, FTX)

  Re: Stunning new Maersk set?

(...) What I think is most fascinating is that this set is microfig scale! (count the studs on the containers).. at least if I am not mistaken. However it will form a good basis for a minifig scale container ship I think,. (probably would need (...) (20 years ago, 14-May-04, to lugnet.general)

It can be a pair of legs for another Minifig, a torso with different arms for a spec. ops. cop in your city, a head for a thief in your castle (...) (20 years ago, 13-May-04, to lugnet.dear-lego)

If you want in, no need to live ext door to the (...) (20 years ago, 14-May-04, to lugnet.general, FTX)

Technic Scale Civilian Space MOC Entry

(URL) Model pictures available at (URL). An entry for the Civilian Space Contest I'm not much of a Technic builder, so I'm not sure how I ended up building at this scale (I actually sat down to build a minifig scale Winnebago).   Panaka is yellow?

I'm sure the topic of race amongst mini-figures is an ancient one, but I just wanted to hear theories from the more informed AFOL's this time. I'm pretty sure TLG just wanted to circumvent any racial issues by making ALL the heads "yellow." There've (...) (25 years ago, 22-Dec-99, to lugnet.starwars)

Re: The Lego Mecha Hall of Fame - What do you think?

As I see it, the LMHoF, is a fairly inclusive organization that embraces a wide range of design styles-minifig, microfig, and stickfig scales, brick-based and technic-based techniques, and even quasi-mecha MOCs such as my own droid host units (...)
