To those who say the LMHoF is elitest, your missing the point.
I ask you, to what level of excellence should people be held for induction.
The whole point to having a Hall of Fame is to exemplify excellence and
inovation. The standards should be somewhat high. Or we risk just having a
big Mecha Club. Something we wanted to avoid.

As I see it, the LMHoF, is a fairly inclusive organization that embraces a wide
range of design styles-minifig, microfig, and stickfig scales, brick-based and
technic-based techniques, and even quasi-mecha MOCs such as my own droid host
units (which are essentially mecha-sized robots). You have some 30 or more
creators on the roster - not so terribly elitist in my opinion.

What do you think of the Lego Mecha Hall of Fame?
Has it helped you?
What would you like to see happen?

Keep it going, Eric. Im looking forward to LMHoF Version 2.0
Later,

At the time, building Lego Mecha designs was in it's infancy. So when you wanted to see the few designs (...) (21 years ago, 13-May-04, to lugnet.build.mecha, FTX)
