I think you guys rock.

Thank you.

I have no issues with your collective desires/aims for the site. I think you
guys made a great decision in sticking to your own opinions only and I
respect your efforts. I also approve strongly of your desire to maintain high
standards and self-determination.

Thank you.

What I don't respect is the (apparent) decision to keep the rest of the
community in the dark re your current situations and selection process. [I'm
not asking that anything change, just that it be explained.] The decision to
avoid explaining selection criteria was a very bad one in my opinion, and I
think it's brought a certain amount of divisiveness into the community.

Hmmm. Okay, I respect that. Fair enough. I guess back then things were simpler
and we just went ahead and did it. Like why call the sherif, if you can just
wack the gofer off the pourch with a stick. You remember. Little Mecha House on
the Prarie.

I can explain how it works.

Somebody makes a kick-ass mech.
They put it up on the web.
One of the 7 Founders sees it and brings it to the Continuum.
Said Founder, or Mecha Advocate would present said kick-ass mech, listing the
kick-ass attributes and such.
We put it to a vote.
We get a yay or a nay.
We send a request for Folder Addition, to add said kick-ass mech.

upload to brickshelf. transclude to website.

Perhaps now, there may be a new way.
Like as if our jeans are getting too old.
You gotta head to the mill every yarn or two.

I'm up for discussion.

If this needs to be hashed out further, let's do it by email.

Soren

I'm just as happy to have in the open, provided my friends names don't have to
be mentioned. That is their request. As it should be. I am the emmisary.
