I think you guys rock.
I have no issues with your collective desires/aims for the site. I think you
guys made a great decision in sticking to your own opinions only and I respect
your efforts. I also approve strongly of your desire to maintain high standards
and self-determination.
What I dont respect is the (apparent) decision to keep the rest of the
community in the dark re your current situations and selection process. Im not
asking that anything change, just that it be explained. The decision to avoid
explaining selection criteria was a very bad one in my opinion, and I think its
brought a certain amount of divisiveness into the community.
If this needs to be hashed out further, lets do it by email.
