| Maybe somebody could help. I am try to use the IR output. the problem is that the HB is modulating the signal at 41kHz and I need to get it down to 38kHz. | If I have interpreted the schematics correctly almost any npn can be used for the ztx614. The 614 simply provides ground for the IR transmitter with a collector current of about 3ma. | I've seen mention of improvements to the light sensor and also the change from analogue to digital interfacing. | there's not really a big diff in the performance of the ir sensors given 38 or 40 khz. so either is fine, +/- a few khz just doesn't really matter, you have to detune 10 khz or so for it to matter. there is an issue whereby there are two different (...) | Thomas, I had a thought about this situation. You could write a function that sets a flag when the event is triggered, do nothing otherwise.
