| | Re: Brickmania withdraws from Brickshelf
|
| (...) You should never use ANY place ( your own HD, one particular floppy, BS, some other site) as your one and only place to keep something you consider important. If it's important, keep it in multiple places. That piece of advice has nothing to (...) (22 years ago, 5-Jul-02, to lugnet.publish)

| | Re: Burned-Out Building

| (...) Wow, I haven't heard "klo" for an awfully long time. When I was a child, in my family, (my parents spoke german to keep secrets, english the rest of the time) it colloquially mean the actual porcelain toilet, or more generally, the room that (...) | (...) This is true, but misses the point. All that is being asked for by me is some more concrete understanding of what to approve, and what not to, and what to do with things that are questionable. (22 years ago, 5-Jul-02, to lugnet.publish)

| (...) I agree. This would be extremely helpful to me. I think Dan is referring to me when he said "all folders immediately approved except for Jihad" because I have been semi systematically trying to approve folders of people I know already (or that (...) For instance the ATSF Super Chief reference that John has posted a few times does not show stripes IIRC. (...) (22 years ago, 4-Jul-02, to lugnet.trains)

| | Re: May I publish documentatino of the 4548?
|
| (...) Agreed. Ask them! Typically, though, publishing things that you reverse engineer is a lot less likely to cause trouble than releasing information that you obtained from the source. Presumably you've reverse engineered the controller? (22 years ago, 4-Jul-02, to lugnet.trains)

Even with built in letters! PS, trainheads will notice (...) (22 years ago, 2-Jul-02, to lugnet.general, lugnet.trains)

| (...) Way cool. Of course I'll need more than 5 of these because they need to be "stretched" quite a bit. Something like 50% more should do the trick... that will give room to expand the trucks a bit too. (22 years ago, 2-Jul-02, to lugnet.trains)

| (...) Well put. I think cars can be geeky even if you haven't done unusual things to them. (like some of the tricked out Audis on that one page are) I once had 8 cars under my control (7 that I had title to and one that I just had custody of) but (...)
