  Re: Introducing the Moonbase Project

(...) Did they change something? It's white for me. (VERY neat site by the way). Are you suppressing different font colors in your browser preferences? Like Jason said, I may have to do a module too! (22 years ago, 27-Jul-02, to lugnet.space)

(...) mmm... pick a side for a standard but allow people to still use pins if they want. We have tossed these same sorts of ideas around for module interconnects in the trains genre. While the cast in pins make for a more solid connection and no (...) (22 years ago, 27-Jul-02, to lugnet.space)

(...) THAT tunnel is where the Beast bit me. Only coaster ever to bite me and I tend to hold my hands out really as high as I possibly can. Hence I love the Beast even if it does have way too many brakes. I have a new respect for Shivering Timbers (...) (22 years ago, 27-Jul-02, to lugnet.org.ca.rtltoronto)

Re: New page about #4548 Train Controller.

(...) Try this link if you can't find it (URL) thought this was quite interesting but the background, while neat, made it very very hard to read. I think this is important information and would love to see it repackaged in a way that made it (...) (22 years ago, 27-Jul-02, to lugnet.trains)

(...) 4179 came with a "free" Legoland ticket... factor that out, (TANSTAAFL(1)). 4105 is about the same piece count and cost significantly less. 1 - do you know what that expands to? For bonus points, can you name the book and author? :-) (22 years ago, 26-Jul-02, to lugnet.general)

Re: Ice Planet 2002 Contest Winners!

(...) Not all THAT badly, really. My memory is hazy but IIRC BT was chosen over F because they both started the same year but BT ended earlier so it's therefore "older by the averages" or something like that. Thus if Futuron was next, everything (...) (22 years ago, 26-Jul-02, to lugnet.build.contests, lugnet.space)

(...) My understanding was that IP 2002 was done out of sequence because it was 2002... not because the themes are being chosen in preference order. My expectation was that the next theme will be the next one in sequence. But I do like M-tron! (...) (22 years ago, 25-Jul-02, to lugnet.build.contests, lugnet.space)

Has anyone done the subject thing? Did it work? Anything special you had to try? We tried installing from the UK CD to a fairly new XP machine. (...) If you really want to make (some) Castle Freaks happy, your target maybe ought to be a "space base" instead of a castle. (well, probably not a good idea to reopen that particular line of thought). Iain: Golf Balls??? Ouch. (22 years ago, 25-Jul-02, to lugnet.org.ca.rtltoronto)
